Sarvodaya Vichar Mandal

Sarvodaya means "Universal Upliftment" or "Progress (Welfare) of All". The Gandhian social ideal encompassed the dignity of labor, an equitable distribution of wealth, communal self-sufficiency and individual freedom. Sarvodaya Vichar Mandal is a new age think tank to carry forward these principles and find an alternative to the troublesome political, social and economic environment created by the practices of globalization and capitalism. The principles of Gandhian Ideology, values inherited during Indian National Movement and enshrined in Indian Constitution will form our basis of future activities.

Mission

The mission of the society is to actively engage in the nation building process through promoting the principles of Gandhian Ideology and the ideas enshrined in the Constitution of India.

Vision

Our vision is to be an ideological organisation which will be the vanguard to defend and preserve the idea of India from the onslaught of divisive ideologies and policies of various groups and governments.

Agriculture

Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. The confidence of farmers depends on the returns they get for their effort and sweat. Sarvodaya Vichar Mandal looks forward to initiating various development activities in this field such as market penetration, food processing centres etc. We also encourage people to take up farming activities in their home and neighbourhood for personal requirements and community needs.
